RPN 50gPrivacy policy
In short
RPN 50g does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDK.
Network access
The only network request the app makes is the download of the calculator firmware from hpcalc.org, when you ask for it on the firmware screen. That request contains nothing beyond what any file download involves (the address of the file and the standard information your device sends with every HTTPS request). hpcalc.org is operated independently of this app; its own privacy practices apply to that download.
Data on your device
The calculator's memory, the firmware images and the emulated SD card are stored on your device only, in the app's own storage. The SD card folder is visible in the Files app (iOS) or chosen by you in the Finder (Mac) so that you can exchange files with the calculator. Nothing is synchronised to any server by the app. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Purchases
The app is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the purchase; the app never sees your payment details or your Apple Account.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
